Without getting too complex and complicating...
I am a person-centered, solution focused therapist who places a HUGE emphasis on the person-centered side of therapy. Being person-centered, it is my therapeutic belief that treatment, progress, and healing cannot be facilitated without trust and a genuine therapeutic relationship. I work hard to create a safe place, free of judgement, and bring an authentic experience for the client.
I currently only meet with client on a part-time basis and am available 11:00AM - 3:00pm, Monday - Thursday (these hours will begin on 7/10/23, please contact for current hours)
Beginning therapy is such a personal choice that requires a certain amount of readiness. The fact that you are here on this website shows that you've already taken the first step on your journey, and that is most often the hardest step.
Congratulations!
Second step would be to contact and set up a consultation to explore a variety of topics, scheduling, and process of treatment moving forward (should you choose to move forward).
Yes! I partner with a company called Alma that allows me to be able to see clients with specific insurances.
A few of insurances that I currently accept are listed and located on my home page under the "Therapy Fees" section.

Therapy will take place via a secure and HIPPA compliant videochat platform provided by SimplePractice.
It is the expectation that the client is in a safe, secure location so that they can feel free to openly share and process feelings and concerns without fear of judgement.
Because therapy is a deeply personal and individual process, it is hard to accurately give an estimate of how long it would take to "feel better".
A simpler way to explain this it that change often takes time. I often say, "you cannot hike 10 miles into the woods and then at the end of your hike turn around and expect to be out in 5 miles." We have to hike those full 10 miles back and that will take time.
I always suggest giving at least 6 to 8 sessions to begin feeling some benefits from the process, but that does not guarantee that you will be done or "feel better".
